Source Sound Recording is owned and operated by Ron King of El Paso, Texas. Source
 Sound Recording is a quality home studio built by hand from the ground up as well as a
 hand crafted approach toward recording music. My focus is to concentrate on the front
 end issues of the recording process such as tone and playing ability, utilizing technology
 to enhance, not replace the artistic representation.

 The main tracking room is the result of extensive research of acoustic dynamics and
 control, utilizing a hard floor, soft ceiling approach for an open and controlled acoustic
 environment while incorporating aspects of diffusion to fragment and disperse sound.
 Accurate audio presentation of the artist is of utmost priority.

 The studio sports high end pre amplification through the use of the Avalon AD2022,
 Focusrite and Presonus preamps. Accurate monitoring is achieved with the JBL LSR 28p
 series monitors with a pair of Infinity speakers used for secondary reference.

 Ron brings 35 years of music business, performance and sound engineering experience
 to the table. As a live sound engineer, some of the artists he has mixed "unplugged"
 include Mathew Scannell of Vertical Horizon, Mat Kearney of Live, Anna Nalick, Metro
 Station and a host of other National acts as well as countless other live venues. This
 experience has been a solid segue entering into the recording studio realm.

 Although my rates are competitively priced at typical home studio level, the end result
 can reflect a recording rivaling that of a much higher end production facility.
